La Luz Galería is a space just opened for the promotion and diffusion of the contemporary visual arts. Located in the heart of the district of Santa Ana de Mérida, Yucatan, it tries to be a connection between the experiences of the new artists of the region and the ameritados artists of the rest of the world. Conscious that the Art does and constructs it the own artists, we are open to its explorations in all the expressions of the contemporary art.

We are comprising of the new Mérida, like city of contemporary arts and artists, and also we are contributing a necessary bond with the vast network of galleries of art worldwide, in where the artists receive a right recognition to their work and race. We then want to be, the opened door of that network, as much for public as for the creators. Let us think that single in freedom the light can be seen.
